Leon Peter Blanda is a writer and stand-up comedian.

He cut his comedy teeth at dive bar open mics in New Orleans, Louisiana, and has shared the stage with many of his heroes, including Road Comic With A Cult Following and Netflix Famous Comedian.  

During the worldwide pandemic, Leon took a short, couple-year break from performing live stand-up, and used that time to freak out, feel dread, gain twenty pounds, and self-publish the genre-bending Western/adventure/horror novel, High Moon.

Leon currently produces and hosts a monthly, stand-up comedy show called JOKES, and later this year will release his second novel, Old Soul, from Grendel Press.
